Rory

It seems that our conversation this morning about Rory and his bad decision to change everything in his bag was apropos.

He WITHDREW with a Tooth Ache after being 7 over through 8 holes?  Really?
There is rumors that he told some reporters that he was having mental issues. 

Now comes the bigger problem to me.  "Preaching by the media and other players."
They will tell us about physical ailments and other things that people have done in the past. 
Some people will discuss Tiger and his micro fracture. ( I live it and it not nearly as bad as it sounds.)  They will forget Tigger walking off due to illness when he was about to lose his cuts made streak.
Reasons:
1. The natural thing to say is that he hates the NIKE equipment and it is exactly what you said this morning. I know that I find their stuff inferior, but I am not fitted with customized clubs.

2. We will see what it is eventually that is creating the mental issues, considering he is young with a female around that is always a question.

3. But with Rory, he has something else that tends to raise it's head at times.  The nationalism in Ireland and the violence that comes form that area is truly scary.  I found it curious that last year he put his new mansion up for sale and made the Olympic comments shortly after that.  Does he have an issue with fear that is bigger than failing at Golf?

I just want to see him get back to normal.
