Is that 7 all-stars for the 2-time defending AL champs? What world do I live in where the Rangers place 7 players on the all-star team? Despite half the pitching staff on the DL, the Rangers stand 50-30 after 3 months. They keep bringing up new power arms for Maddux to play with. How great it is to live in the middle of a franchise's glory years! The radio guru's keep saying things like "most balanced team in the majors", "best organization in the majors", "best chemistry in the majors". Another thing I never thought I'd live long enough to see was the Rangers being the envy of baseball.
