The Natural misses another week of action while the Rangers keep any news under wraps. Today we get this statement from the team:
Rangers officials said that Hamilton saw an optometrist and was diagnosed with ocular keratitis, a drying of the cornea caused by too much caffeine and energy drinks.
I've never seen an athlete miss more games in creative ways than Hamilton. He has to be the most addictive personality we've ever encountered. Drugs, alchohol, tobacco, now energy drinks. I'm enamored of the talent, but simply no way I could guarantee him a long contract.
