Timing of last Post on Rory

When I wrote the previous post it was Friday morning and Rory was coming off a -2, 70 first round. He made 6 birdies two bogeys and a Double for his 70.
(This is at a venue that will host the PGA in 2017.)

That AWE factor showed up the next 36 holes, he had 16 birdies and no bogies to take the lead in tournament with a 67-61 since my post.  He shot 61 Saturday and the longest putt he made was 15 feet, he hits it so CLOSE.

He is currently 21 under with 4 holes to play.
He has a record 26 birdies already this week and will break the tournament scoring record, most birdies, single round record with a display of ridiculous power with a driving average going into today that is hovering around 329 yards.
(By the way, he just hit a 5 wood to the fringe on 14, a par 4 at 303 yards.)

Lets use his playing partners quote:

“It was phenomenal,” said MacKenzie, a two-time PGA Tour winner. “He overpowers the course. He’s way better than me.
He’s just a little bit better than everybody.
“Guys like Jordan Spieth and Rickie (Fowler) are totally awesome, but when this guy hits it, you know who’s hitting it.
“The long ball is impressive but he’s got the touch to back it up. When this guy’s on, he just loads (on his backswing) better than everybody. He’s just stronger, a little more physically gifted.”
“I think he’s going to become the Tiger Woods.
I’m just glad he doesn’t play every week."
