LSU aftermath

"[Coach Les] Miles thrives on stuff like that," said running back Michael Ford, whose 20-yard, second-quarter touchdown was the Tigers' first score in the 24-19 comeback win. "That's what he wants, to show the world that we're not going to fold when people get ahead of us."
This was a response made to questions regarding a 12-0 deficit and no offense through a quarter and a half.
That quote will be viewed as a compliment, by some confused souls, to the coach, but it may provide an little insight into the delusions that Miles spouts in private. He is like the kid that says he lost to his sister on purpose.  His offensive scheme is his badge of honor no matter the consequences to his team.

LSU ran 21less plays than the Aggies yesterday and Punted 10 times to 4 for the home team.

Just another example that any fool can win if he has the better talent.

Great description! Mettenberger had 97 passing yards on 29 attempts! I totally agree with the badge of honor comment. Perfect for Miles. To him he is proving to everyone that his way works. He just got a road win against a ranked team. That's all he will see. Waste, waste, waste.
