Livestrong Lance

For John’s benefit, I want to pay homage to the retiring Lance Armstrong. A man who was more likely to die than live a scant few years back. A man who has raised literally millions of dollars for sick kids. A man who could take more pain on a daily basis climbing actual mountains on a bicycle than I think any of us realize is even humanly possible. A man who never backed down in the face of intense hatred by fans across Europe and waived the American flag in their faces. A man with some huge character flaws who has nonetheless been a force for good across the world. And of course, a Texan. Happy retirement Lance. Livestrong!
