Jimenez

Ubaldo Jimenez has now produced the best 11-game start to a season in major league history. So much for the 2-horse race for NL Cy Young. He has allowed runs in 6 innings in 11 starts! Where did this come from? He was building a career, but wow. And, I still haven't seen one single clip of him on TV. I wouldn't know him if he walked into my living room. I guess he's someone we better get to know since he's one third of the way to outpitching Bob Gibson's record ERA in '68.

What a great looking pitcher.
100mph when he needs it with movement on all of his pitches.

It is really amazing, because he doesn't overthrow like a Dibble or Gossage. His ball is not heavy like Ryan.
He is lanky with a Pedro movement.
