Mike Modano

I see that the Stars have decide not to offer another year to the greatest player they have ever had.

It is ashamed that he went out this way, but if any athletes were overpaid, it is in the NHL.

They make tons of money with no TV rating or popularity.

Modano was just different, ruggedly handsome with with a sheepish grin that never embarrassed or caused problems in Dallas, while producing a Stanley Cup. I remember Dale Hansen once calling Modano the coolest guy he was every around, (and he has been around a lot.)

I have never been a Hockey fan, but Modano was worth listening to in an interview.
