Some good, Some Bad.
Jack- Arnie: Part of the time only, They went from best friends to logo enemies to friends again.
Tiger-Phil: Never understood why the best player in the world cared, Phil never seemed to care as much as the Woods and his Den of Demons. Even Butch Harmon has commented on the differences.
Snead- Hogan: S, you know very well that I think Hogan was an Ass and not as talented as Snead nor Nelson. I will not waste time going over the wins of each and time spans that allowed Hogan to win with the increased media coverage.
How about this for a media darling: Hogan was the best player in 1948-10 wins.
In 1950, Hogan was named player of the year.
That year, Snead won 11 times, Hogan won only the US OPEN, but was coming back from the wreck in 49.
