My previous dislike for Duke is well-known, but I was a big J.J. Redick fan in college, mostly because I just liked his game. Labeled as a bust in the NBA, Redick has dug deep and 4 years into his career has forged a place for himself in Orlando. Now getting 25 min/gm and averaging over 10 points for the first time, he has become a favorite of Van Gundy and often plays in crunch time. Armed with some confidence he's finally showing the shooting touch he was supposed to have, hitting 45% from 3-pt range. I enjoy a story like this, where a guy was forgotten, but continued to work hard and has made a place for himself in the league. Good for him.
