I read J's post about the Cowboys roster with amusement. Mosely wants to cut half the team, but where do we find new players? Rick Gosselin wrote this week giving teams his post-season grade on their draft last spring. The Cowboys got a D. Shocking. Only Dez kept them from getting an F. Once again, no value as the rounds went past.
Up in New England, Bellicheat realized he needed to rebuild so he drafted 8 players who made the roster and 4 who start. Tampa also drafted 4 starters and went 10-6. The 'Boys drafted just 3 who made the roster with no starters (yet, Lee and Bryant will obviously be starters). The great organizations consistently cut their old and ineffective players and replenish with the draft. Dallas has few options to replace all these under-performers because we can't draft in the vital rounds 2-4.
