LSU

I went to the LSU-La Tech Game.
I had great seats, high enough up to see the entire field and watch an inept offense.
LSU was so bad that Tech looked competent.

How can they be that bad.

1. The O line is worse than I suspected.
The only time Lee had time LSU was only sending 3 people out on patterns and one was a dump off reciever.
2. Lee is really weak in the knees and fearful to throw into coverage.
3. Dooley outcoached Miles. Tech had them confused on both sides of the ball.
4. Crowton and Miles have really messed up the team chemistry.
This does not look anything like a Crowon offense.
Maybe the line is so weak he cannot do things that he wants, but I don't buy that theory. Crowton ran spreads with less talent for years and had better results.

My opinion is that LSU is trying to run a power game and Crowton is a finesse coach.
5. K Williams is as good as he looks on TV. Miles has wasted 4 years of talent.

Team Stat Comparison
Game ----------------Tech LSU
1st Downs =======23 ---15
3rd down efficiency 5-18 2-9
4th down efficiency 3-4 0-1
Total Yards ======322 -246

They win with superior talent every week.

Here’s where I’m at with Les Miles. He’s in over his head. He’s all bluff. He’s an old school football coach who has succeeded with a certain attitude and discipline, but he’s not intelligent enough for where he finds himself. He’s not on the same intellect level with people like Meyer and Saban, and even worse for us, Petrino either. He can appear to be close to them as long as he has this talent level. But when the talent slides he is going to get massacred. I’m a bit of a pessimist deep down, but I truly get the vibe that it’s going to fall apart on him. Better for us to lose our remaining games because it will take 3 or 4 five-loss seasons to get him out. Despite what he accomplished during his 1st three seasons I believe he will leave us in shambles ultimately.
