Auburn was much bigger and faster than Oregon, the difference was larger than I expected.
Auburn squandered a two or three TD win with sloppy play. Newton looked very pedestrian for most of the game. I could not telll how many injuries he is playing with the, but the Ducks are lucky Big Cam was less than normal.
The Oregon O and D lines did not match up at all and the speed of the DLineman for Auburn seemed to equal the QB and some backs. The running game for Oregon seemed overwhelmed by the strength. But the schemes from Kelly can find openings and big plays. The problem is the problem is that those plays are not touchdowns when the defensive backs are faster than the offense. Chip Kelley should go to Baton Rouge so he can experience having superior talent to the champion Auburn Tigers. He can get his revenge yearly coaching at LSU and probably add a Trophy or two for himself.

The worst championship game in recent memory just in terms of quality of play. Mostly crap all night except for a handful of big plays.
