Cowboys Greatest Players

ESPN had a link to pick what you considered the Dallas Cowboys Greatest Team.

I did my team today. http://espn.go.com/espn/dallas/greatestteam/index/_/teamId/5984991/dallas-cowboys-greatest-team-greatest-team-all-time?teamId=5984991&votes=0:28~

My really difficult choices.
1, Hayes and Irvin over Drew Pearson- I had to pick Hayes, he was just different than anyone in TD's.  Pearson remains the only player from the 70's all decade team not in Hall of Fame on Offense.
2. Sanders over Cornell Green, but in his 5 years in Dallas, Deion Sanders was the best in the league till he got hurt.
3. George Andrie over Too Tall , he just did more in less games.

Other Stuff:
A. Staubach over Aikman was easy, best player in the league for years.
B.  Smith and Dorsett easily the best two RB in the same uniform we have seen in our life.
C.  Lilly - White and Harvey Martin - Martin should be considered for HOF.  Haley wasnt there long enough.
D. John Niland over Nate Newton was easy for me.  He was just better in comparison, truthfully Newton barely kept his job over Kevin Gogan when he was in Dallas. I still think Gogan was as good at least.
E. Of course. Tom Landry over Jimmy Johnson.  No one other than Shula and Gibbs have won with that many different teams in the modern era.

I agree with almost everything you said. I would go with Haley because of the major impact he had on a championship team.

Haley was difficult and I think great. I forget to list it under difficult.

Best in the same uniiform at RB- That is a very bold statement. First I thought of was Payton and Sayers. Maybe because I just returned fromn there but it seems like a very strong argument
