Crowton is officially Gone. He is on his way to Maryland.

Finally the Miles-Crowton combo is finished.  What a catastrophe it has been with the offense since the National Championship team. (LSU was 112th in total offense in 2009 and 107th in passing offense in 2010.)

From a purely speculative point, I believe that Miles told Crowton to go seek opportunities while he still had a job.  He did this with his Co-Defensive Coordinators previously when they left.
Miles does some very classy things for people he employees.
