Dallas Staff Shaping Up

As much as I am surprised with Jason Garrett seemingly having an influence over the coaching staff, I am pleased with the direction they are taking.

I have grown weary of hearing coaches say that is if the players run the schemes correctly it will work and only minor adjustments are needed. We have heard this since Big Bill took over.
Ryan will blitz and send people all over the field while trying to confuse the offenses.

I have always placed Garrett and his ineffective Red Zone Offense in this category of the stubborn.
Maybe a change is happening?

Now we have an Asst OLine Coach coming in for and interview named Matthews. Wow.
Bruce Matthews, a truly all time great player with brains and experience with techniques from offenses that know how to run the ball.   Maybe he can teach Houck a few tricks next year with dealing with this underachieving bunch of fat backs.

When I originally saw the Cowboy schedule for next year, I was thinking 8-8 at best.  Maybe, just maybe, Dallas will look like they not only have the talent, but have other teams confused with their schemes.

Do not get too far ahead- I do like the DC hire but they need to replace some individual as well.
