TCU

I was happy that TCU won the game against the Big 10 Co-Champions.

The play in the game and the way it played out did little to change my opinion of TCU nor Wisconsin.
These are good teams, but neither would never survive against some of the teams in the SEC nor Oregon.

A quote from the Badger head coach seemed a little bit confrontational and unnecessary.
"The truth will come out when they enter into a BCS conference," he said, "and play someone of the caliber of those conferences, week in and week out."
Even though this is a very neutral comment it seems like a jab at TCU and it was not deserved.

At least TCU will get a chance to play some better quality in the Big East next year, it is a weak conference but solid enough to earn a shot at another BCS game.

Certainly I wouldn't argue that TCU could take the pounding in the SEC or even the Big 12 on a regular basis. But, let's appreciate a flat out tremendous job of planning and coaching to bring this no-tradition program from a "non-AQ" conference up to this level of play that they can qualify for and win the Rose Bowl. As much as I love the big-time schools, there has to be room for other schools to make their case.
