Rangers lead WS 3-2, national story line is that Cardinals "blew" game 2 and LaRussa "blew" game 5. Our hitters and pitchers seem to be playing no role at all. I guess the Rangers will have to become a dynasty to garner any respect from the establishment.

The media is dominated by the East and Midwest to an extent that is ridiculous.
Only the historical teams like the Cowboys and Dodgers seem to be able to pass through this bias at a professional level.
The BCS with all of its faults has made the national writers and tv folks force themselves to accept the SEC as the dominant league.
