Well, Abilene was able to redeem themselves against Plant 27-17. Strangely Abilene opened with 3 out of state competitors, Franklinton, LA, then Cocoa, FL, now Plant (Tampa). Not sure why their coach pursued that kind of schedule, but it certainly brings the spotlight. They should be primed for district now I guess.

Stony Point beating Desoto shocked me a bit. I am not used to DFW area teams losing.. I am curious to see the Katy score today. The team from Beaumont is loaded.
