Draft Whiffs & the Consequences

The Cowboys have not drafted a significant contributor on the O-line since Andre Gurode and have missed on several. We now see the consequences of poor decisions in the draft room, when a team with Super Bowl aspirations is being undermined by one unit. Why would a bad team like the Rams trade their starting left tackle for a spare linebacker? Last night we found out as Barron played one of the singular worst games by a lineman you will ever witness. This is a very average unit with age and injury issues and I can't see it getting fixed in the short term. This offense is in trouble. I did hear one commentator on the radio this week saying Romo was underrated because he continually has to make plays behind a poor line.
