Tin Cup Revisited.

The media world may be discussing the 58 shot in Japan by 18year old Ryo Ishikawa but that is not the best round shot yesterday. (This was on a 6500 yd course in Japan)

20 year old, Rory McIlroy from Northern Ireland shot a final round 62 at Quail Hollow.
Quail Hollow is considered a tune up for the US open with the sloping greens and bogey's waiting to happen.
10 under at this course with those pin placements is crazy.
This 62 proved again that the ability to see the exact break in the greens is the most important aspect of golf.

The similarities with the name and scoring to the 1996 movie Tin Cup is a bit more than normal.

Rory McIlvoy vs Roy McAvoy
Both shot a 62 to win the tournament.
