Cornerback Terence Newman hinted after the game that the Cowboys did not practice well.

"Some things had kind of gotten let go in practice," he said. "Things that are not on the coaches. They don't really know some of the things that are going on, but as players we've got to crack down and make sure some of the stuff that was going on doesn't go on."

Newman said more intensity is needed.

"We've got to make it a game situation in practice," he said. "That's just what it is. We go hard in practice, but maybe our intensity needs to go up a little bit."
