Baylor - Texas

What kind of world do we live in?

Texas loses to a bad UCLA team, Iowa State and Baylor at home.

I was listening to an Orange Blood website expert and he was talking about the offensive change.

He said they spent the entire preseason time practicing the new Mack Brown instructed running game. He tells a story that they realized against Rice during that first game that they couldn't do it. The team immediately started going back to the spread and couldn't find chemistry between a new QB and the WR's. What a ridiculous coaching decision and now Brown is blaming the assistant coaches.
He said the coaches consider the WR recruits in 2007,8 and 10 bust.

It drives me nuts to think that they are really this bad and they have a RB averaging 9.4 yards a carry (DJ Monroe) that doesn't get any touches - 16 total. Go figure. Is Mack going senile?

Briles at Baylor has done a fabulous job.

For all of the TCU haters, they may want to ignore what the Frogs did to the Bears.

I'm not certain that you can blame Mack for what he was wanting to do. He's looking at going into a season with a true soph QB and thin talent at WR, so he decides a running game is in order. The question is, why can't they run at TX? If he loses to A&M, it can truly be said that he's got the 4th best team in the state!
