Some Writers Comments on Da Boys.

"Special-teams" unit? The Cowboys had a 14-7 lead at halftime, but the coverage unit gave up a 95-yard touchdown return by Percy Harvin on the opening kickoff of the second half. This is the same unit that gave up a 73-yard return against the Titans last week. Special teams coach Joe DeCamillis vowed it wouldn't happen again, but ... it happened. The Cowboys also had a nice punt return by Dez Bryant wiped out because of a holding penalty on Alan Ball. You won't find a more undisciplined team in the NFL than the Cowboys

Cowlishaw -Fixing those problems – which realistically can't begin to happen until 2011 – would require a culture change that Jones would have to lead. A simple coaching change wouldn't do more than placate the Wade-haters who want one man to bear the burden for 45 players' mistakes and a twisted philosophy that limits the head coach's authority to begin with.

With that in mind ... let's all get back to the Rangers, OK?

Taylor --- If it weren’t so pathetic, it’d actually be funny.

These Cowboys have become: An NFL joke. A late-night punchline for Leno and Letterman. An embarrassment.

You tell me how Miles Austin could get a penalty for excessive celebration – he leapfrogged Roy Williams after his teammate’s second-quarter catch – the week after the Jason Witten-Marc Colombo fiasco helped lose a game against Tennessee?

STRUM-
Enough of the season has passed we know we're dealing with. There are minimal injuries. We're getting to the point that the only people you can blame are the players and coaches. They've mastered finding new and inventive ways to lose and being their own worst enemy.

Despite working feverishly to find solutions, I honestly don't think they have any idea how to do it. And what's going to go wrong next? I think we've all become familiar with teams finding ways to win games regardless of the unique scenario from week to week. Whereas the 2010 Cowboys seem to do just the opposite.

HAD ENOUGH YET?

One more comment on Jones- He liked Les Miles.
