HS Football

I watched Allen in person for the first time this year and came away very unimpressed despite the 7-0 record. The run defense was very shaky and they are turnover prone. At one point they fumbled on 3 straight possessions. I predict a loss this week to Marcus who is 6-1 and playing power football. If so, it will end Allen's 34 game district winning streak. The current track pointing toward the playoffs would pit Allen and Trinity in round 2, their 4th meeting in the last 3 years (Allen leads 2-1). In no way do I see Allen winning that one based on what I saw this past week.
