What a Saturday for Stoops that on Saturday.
First trailing 36-27 with 6:06 to play, Stoops went for two and failed leaving the Sooners down 9 instead of 8. I can forgive him for this, he is playing to win...Right?
Then facing 4th and 10 at at their 7 with a little over 2 minutes left, Stoops punted with no timeouts left!
Stoops Quit!
His reasoning: He was worried about Missouri scoring and making the point differential larger..?? Stoops was worried about dropping in the polls.
Stoops is quickly turning into one of my most despised coaches after I admired the guy for a decade. His whining and now this.

Do you think he would have had enough gumption to play for a win if they had been down 8.

To me, this reflects the pressure these high profile coaches are under and the weird things our goofy system makes them think.
Another winner of a quote from Mack Brown; when asked about the 'Horns offensive struggles he said "I don't know, you'll have to ask Greg, he calls the plays". No Mack, you're the head coach, we're asking you. Are you in charge or not?
