Rangers - Rays. Game 1.

Since I was home with a fever today, I was able to catch some playoff action.

The Lee and Molina trades are good through day one.

Molina cracks me up with his beer belly build and slow movements. 3 for 4 with a homer and and 2 rbi's. He also catches Lee perfectly.

7 innings 1 run for Lee 104 pitches/74 strikes. The only run is
was an opposite field homer on a hanging curve from a singles hitter. Zobrist 2 hits of 5 against Lee.

Feliz gets two on in the ninth and blows them away when he gets nervous. It was good to see him in high 90's with control.

Lee was on the ropes but found his command by the 2nd. He's a pleasure to watch; a clinic for anyone wanting to learn pitching. Nice to see Hamilton back in center where people can see just what a talent he is. Amazing how often Buck Martinez commented on his speed today. Nice win with our rent-an-ace, but tomorrow the real Rangers pitchers show up; we'll see how they fare.
