Hank Haney and Golf Instructions. A friends story.

I was talking with a friend of mine who trains at Jim McLean's Golf Center in Fort Worth.
(Low Handicap Golfer)
The subject went to Hank Haney, previously he had tried some sessions at Lord Haney's center.
During one particular lesson, he asked the instructor if a particular a change in his swing would really help. (This movement created a uncomfortable movement and worse results.) His scores were going up and golf was losing its fun factor.

The Instructor after some probing on if this would really help my friend said this "(highlighted with -)
-It is Hank's way.
My Friend- Are you sure?
-Hank thinks his way it is the only way!

I think this summarizes why I cannot watch his shows on Golf Channel.
Ray Ramono told him on the first show he had too many thoughts being put in the computer(his brain) Haney just ignored the comment with a verbal quip and went on reciting multiple things.

Baby Steps and working with what you have is not in his make-up.

Best Quote- McLean told my buddy that lessons should be like a diet.
You will struggle until a comfort is found but you should not gain weight(or increase your scores.)
