I caught the Rivals' Longhorn expert on Bill King this morning. They truly have recruiting down to a well-oiled machine. Right now, they already have 19 commitments with only 23 slots total to fill....for next year's class! This guy said they would now battle for a few 5-star guys, but mostly turn their attention to the 2012 class! Whatever you want to say about Mac, he is an absolutely incredible organizer and promoter. That place runs like a top. Also, he said Gilbert came out of spring practice as easily one of the top 5 players on the team. He was highly impressed with what he's seeing.

While in Austin this week, I spoke heard a middle age lady brag that she had been photographed with Mack 5 times to date.
Who would have predicted that post Vince Young and Mack with rap on his IPOD.
