I think Notre Dame picked a fine coach in Kelly.
I hope he is a little more successful, not a lot, than his recent predecessors.
Not good enough to win big, but good enough to get them beat in bowl games.

I like coaches that are smart and win, but the big winners are the great recruiters.
His past at Central Michigan and Cincy leave some room for doubt. Dantonoi built Cincy before Kelly arrived to a 3 loss team and it hasn't translated to wins at Michigan State.

But on the other hand, Meyer did it after Bowling Green and Utah.
Urban was 22-2 at Utah after they had hovered around 7-4 or 6-5 for years.
Kelly took over a 9-3 team at Cincy and went 10-3.
He has never beat a top 25 team that wasn't in the Big East.
