Meyer/Saban II

I am in total agreement with you on the opportunity for the SEC to see
something great. It has truly been rare to have this type of situation.

With your thoughts and history in mind..........

I will start with the most recent and move on.
The requirements-Annual game and National Championships on the line frequently.

Bowden-Johnson Too Short? 5 years. Ericson had 7 years.
Switzer-Osborne
Sherrill-Paterno
Hayes-Schembechler
Parseghian-McKay
Yost-Rockne

Stoops-Brown truly is a good comparison. Give them credit, they have earned it.

Some like Bryant, Royal had no equal that they played yearly.

I think Hayes/Schembechler & Switzer/Osborne are the ultimate. Same conference and bitter rivals. If Meyer and Saban stay put for a while, it could approach that. AL and FL have not been natural rivals so I don't know if it could get as big as OSU/Mich, but for sheer quality of coaching talent and intensity, vying for the top spot in the preiminent conference, it's just gonna be great to watch.
