Let's not forget the bowl record. Overall it was 20-9-1 at Fl St. But at one time he ran off 14 consecutive bowls without a loss (1 tie) and the last 9 of those were in major bowls. During his great 14 year run, he was 11-3 playing nothing but the best competition.
