Coaches like Mack Brown get paid millions to win; but like any high-profile high-paying job, the test is crisis management and Mack certainly finds himself in a crisis now. It will be so interesting to watch him navigate through it and see if he's worth all the accolades he's received over the years for being a great CEO.
First order of business; rebuild his staff. Second, nail down this top-ranked recruiting class. Third, make some major personnel decisions. He's going to have to be bold and decisive and spare no feelings. Now, Mack has proven to be resiliant in the past, catching up to Stoops, changing philosophies, making TX a top-five program. But at 59 he now faces the biggest challenge of his career. It will be fun to watch!
