Sam Harrell, Ennis coach and father to Graham Harrell retired this week due to multiple sclerosis. Harrell went 153-51 at Ennis, won 3 state championships (2000, 2001, 2004), and helped usher in the new era in TX high school football where passing and spread offenses took over. A tragic story, Harrell will be missed.
