We're getting 3 pretty good match-ups for Saturday. Today, Trinity won another tight one 28-24 over Stony Point. Finally a little defense showed itself, but Trinity once again dominated on the ground with 50 rushes for 399 yards. They will vie for a 4th title against undefeated Pearland; the two teams are 30-0 and Trinity has beaten 4 straight district champs.
Guyer shocked Longview 28-27 with a blocked punt and TD in the final minute. They will face Cibolo Steele and the nations top RB Malcolm Brown, something to look forward to seeing. He holds Mack Brown's offensive future in his hands.
The first game will be undefeated Denton Ryan vs. 3-time defending state champ Lake Travis in 4A. Let's hear it for Denton football; 2 teams in the finals.
