Two things strike me on this subject.
1. I do not blame TCU for jumping conferences. The Mountain West really becomes the WAC next year with the recent departures.
2. The Big East? What in the world is going on? West Virginia, Pitt, UConn and Syracuse as Rivals?
Football wise it is going to be a interesting to see what happens but I still do not care who wins the Big East.
Basketball wise, Ouch! The Big East is going to be a massacre unless they hire a big time coach who can get the DFW recruits to stay home.
Overall, I'm disappointed. I wanted Texas A&M and TCU in the SEC.

I think it was a coup for TCU even though it's so bizarre to think Syracuse & TCU in the same context. They already had huge travel cost going out west.
The interesting thing to me is that they were a doormat in the SWC and their entire worth right now is due to Franchione and Patterson. If Patterson were to leave, they could easily be back to what they were for 60 years before Franchione arrived.
