I know that the nation is looking down on Dooley, but he actually has more qualifications than Kiffin.
This is a big loss for my alma mater.
Dooley has upgraded the facilities, recruiting and attitude in Ruston.
1. He has a Law Degree from Georgia, worked 2 years in law, then went to work with his Dad at Georgia for a year in 1996.
2. Worked with Saban as Recruitin Coordinator/coach from 2000-2006
3. 2 years with Dolphins, 5 at LSU, 1 at Ga, 3 at SMU.
4. Louisiana Tech coach 2006-2009.
5. Tech AD 2008-2009. Tech has the lowest or 2nd lowest budget in WAC.
6. A young looking 41year old that takes a stern approach with players.
7. Tech recruiting has been better under Dooley.
1 bowl appearance and win in his 3 years.
8. Better than average speaker in Public.
Kiffin -USC 6 years 2 as OC with Bush, Lienart,White,Smith and called the play that TX stopped. 3yrs Fresno,1 colo st, 1 jax jag, 6usc, 2 oakland, 1 tenn.
