Kiffin and Coach O

Can anyone really be surprised at the behavior coming out of So Cal? Orgeron is such a sleazy guy that he will do anything. Of course, he called TN recruits and told them not to go to school.

Kiffin is a coach I wanted to like, but he really does make it hard. I was caught off guard by how many media people think he was a horrible hire for Tennessee prior to leaving.
The main man on Rivals Radio, Bill King, said the depth and team are in worse shape than the year before he arrived. This may have been a miscommunication or I did not hear it correctly, but the atmosphere was very negative. King thinks the AD who hired him should be worried for his job.

Forgetting about his many NCAA infractions in his first year, I get to the job he did at TN.
Many things truly are disappointing:
1. Lack of control being reported with players.
2. Played USC game tapes at the Vols training center?
3. Told people they would be USC of East.....Are you kidding me?
Should someone remind him, that during the Carroll reign that he was selling, that won half the NC's that LSU and FLA won during the same span.
4. Used older ladies to recruit players at a HS.

He really never understood or respected the SEC history or the NCAA. I guess he did learn some things from Carroll.

After reading the story on him in SI last year, none of this surprises me. Has anyone ever done less and still advance like a rocket? Can he coach? Does anyone know? At 34 he gets one of the top 5 jobs in America? I will really be shocked if he doesn't get into major trouble. The debris he's already left behind after 1 year seems to indicate a total lack of regard for the rules. I think he's convinced he's the golden child and nothing can go wrong.
