Airline went down to Natchitoches Central

Tough draw in first round for Airline, they drew an athletic Chiefs team that has been ranked in the top 10 most of the year. Truthfully, Airline could have beaten some of the higher ranked teams but the achilles heal for this team is the speed and strength they met tonight. They get no uncontested shots out of the rotations with the quickness difference.

It was a 4 point loss in which Airline made a valiant comeback and had the ball down only 2 with 30 seconds left.

The turning points was when the Chiefs came out in the 3rd quarter with a trapping full court set. With the refs allowing the belly bumps and hand checks, the muscle and quickness really did effect the Viking ball handlers.

Even though they lost, it was a fun game to watch.
