Allen National Signing Day

More lingering pain from Allen's playoff exit this year was brought out on signing day. This makes it harder to stomach going out in the 2nd round. They will have a tough time replacing this group on offense. QB and all 5 O-linemen will play college ball:

QB Matt Brown - ranked (by Rivals) as the 11th best dual threat QB in America, signed w/ TCU
OL Luke Burleson 6-5/270 - signed with Baylor
OL Cedric Ogbuehi 6-5/270 - participant in the Army All-American Bowl, signed w/ TX A&M
OL Richard Greer 6-3/285 - signed with Bucknell University
OL Taylor Pearson 6-4/287 - signed with Princeton
OL Brad McNulty 6-3/309 - junior currently ranked as area's 3rd best OL for next year

Allen had 7 Div I signees in football, 6 in girl's soccer (2 going to Arkansas), & 2 in girl's volleyball.

Amazingly with Allen's size and resources, basketball is a wasteland. The current boy's and girl's basketball records for the season: 10-14 and 11-18. If they were decent I would be going up there to watch some, but they are terrible and are pretty much every year.
