Texas in the Big 10 or Pac 10.

Who is using whom in this negotiation?

Why would TX let the knowledge out that they discussed moving out of Big 12?
It really hurts the Big 12 and suggest that Texas thinks the other two are better overall conferences.

It can only help TX in one way:
They want more power in a conflict with the other Big 12 Teams.
I wonder which teams have joined together to fight the Texas Decision makers in the Big 12.

The other reasons are a reach at best. Why join conferences that win less titles in they two big sports, have no history or rivalries, will never be part of the inner circle of power brokers and
will no longer be the big dog. The media markets are bigger, but they SEC has the smallest market and the biggest contracts, so the media size is irrelevant.

Can Texas really be that selfish?
This only helps the Big 10 and Pac 10 with access into the Texas Talent and Media Market.
