NBA Rookies at the Half Way Point

With Stephen Curry posting triple double this week it seemed appropriate to look at the NBA Rookies. 36pts - 13 assist-10 rebounds.

My Rankings are basically the same as the pundits:

1. Tyreke Evans-6'6" Leads in Scoring and overall stats. 20.8 pts 4.8rebs, 5.1 assist. His height is a definite advantage. He is getting the line a lot for a PG. A good sign of respect.
Tie for 2nd-with Curry moving up.

2. Brandon Jennings-Leads in Assist and Assist turnover ration. Second in Pts 16.8 3.8rep, 6.2 assist. Shooting % has dropped since the NBA has film on him now. I am impressed with is pass first attitude.
2. Stephen Curry- Leads in Steals.1.8spg.3rd in scoring and assist. 14.8, 3.8 reb, 4.9 assist. Playing better with Jackson gone, the GS offense inflates his stats a bit.

The next groups is a stranger breakdown.
Casspi at Sac is much better than I expected.
Blair is a bull on the board, but may be limited physically. He will avg 12 boards if he can play both ends.

I like Ty Lawson's potential, but playing behind Billups may hide his talent for a while.

The bad thing for us, the shooting % are still in the improved Kobe range and less than 50%.
