Not because I do not think he is talented, but 8 million a year for the numbers he will produce as the 2nd or 3rd option at TB for most of the game. Fun to watch, but he better return every kick and punt with 80 receptions.
Could this be the beginning of the end for the front office stability.
Payton will win it again, but that teams needs to watch the payroll. They are gathering some high priced players and not know will be signing the celebrities that will come out of Payton's winning and media attention from being a winner.

I agree the Saints should reinvent Bush to be on the field more- (ie WR) or deal him. It may be a one last chance year- no salary cap, but Payton has been clear on his intention to keep Bush. He wows but disappoints more often. The Saints should also look at Chaerles Grant-- it would not surprise me to see him gone. McCray and the draft could fill the position.
